Job Title: Continuous Improvement Workshop Leader

SUMMARY
Support and drive appropriate operational plans using lean strategies to deliver both short and long-term results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner and adhere to all Auto Safety House safety policies.
- Facilitate/lead improvement events at all facilities.
- Coordinates and conducts training in lean operating principles as requested.
- Data collection and observation of current conditions.
- Track and monitor full and consistent implementations.
- Supports establishment and communication of the LEAN philosophy, culture and needed behavior changes.
- Serves as an internal consulting resource, assisting with identification of improvement opportunities, implementation plan development, and problem solving.

- Minimum three (3) years experience working within a lean system.
- Team leader or member of no fewer than fifty (50) kaizen improvement events.
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization, influence leaders to change / adopt change, build trust and credibility quickly.
- Specialized knowledge in the principles, practices, and implementation of lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
- Superior communication skills both written, verbal with the ability to listen
- Demonstrated positive energy to promote employee engagement and drive results.
- Demonstrated passion to drive change and challenge status quo.
- Exceptional skills in project management
- Efficient use of Microsoft tools, Powerpoint, excel, access, word, etc
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write technical, effective business communication to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, clients, and/or regulators.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to apply financial mathematical concepts.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
