At Auto Safety House, safety is not only part of our name, it’s part of our culture. Since our founding in 1941, we have not let production or efficiency win out over safety, and we take our role in ensuring the safety of our employees, customers, and the public, very seriously. Our employees are the most important component to our safe work environment, and we are proud of the high safety standards they maintain. Every accident is preventable, but it takes team effort to make this happen.
This is a special shout out to Auto Safety House in Holbrook, Arizona, and Branch Manager Kevin Berg. This team deserve a big congratulations for their incredible safety efforts with no recordable injuries in 4520 days. This equates to twelve years! This is a major accomplishment, and it speaks to the culture and safety standards the Holbrook branch upholds.
“We take safety very seriously, I talk about it every day as employees are coming into work and checking their temperature, and even among the employee's themselves, they will remind each other if they see something questionable,” said Branch Manager Kevin Berg.
Along with safety being a part of the daily conversation, each time there is a lesson to be learned, Berg shares the Weekly Safety Bulletin so the team can all learn from it. OSHA law requires “employers to provide their employees with working conditions that are free of known dangers”. ASH is committed to a safe work environment and sending all our employees home each day the same way they arrived – safe and healthy.
Congratulations again to Kevin, and the Holbrook team, for always being proactive about workplace safety!
